The Lessons of History. Made collectible.

To build a treasury of civilization is to stand in conscious continuity with those who came before us. And when we allow ourselves to be inspired by greatness, we do not simply understand and admire it, we become different because of it.

"We are too often forced to choose between what is beautiful, and what is functional. It really is heart-warming to be reminded by these cards that it doesn't have to be this way.

Accessible and well presented stories fronted by genuinely beautiful artwork - simply magnificent!"

Your personal treasury

I believe a civilization endures only when its stories are remembered and treasured. What we preserve becomes part of our identity; what we neglect slowly fades. To build a personal treasury of civilization is to stand in conscious continuity with those who came before us. And when we allow ourselves to be inspired by greatness, we do not simply admire it, we become different because of it.

Inspire the most ciritical faculty

The human imagination is our most vital faculty. Images convey profound narratives, often speaking volumes beyond what a thousand words aim to express. These cards were created to kindle that inner world and give history a living form.

From isolation to understanding

1 card = 1 topic. Each card is a node in a larger network of history's greatest figures & events, gradually forming in your mind. As more cards are explored, the network deepens, and a richer sense of our shared past begins to emerge.

Learning through collecting

We have an instinct to collect, sort, and curate. Cards of History harnesses that instinct by transforming learning into ownership. Each card earned, held, and revisited strengthens engagement, turning history from a subject into a personal collection, one we build deliberately, return to often, and value over time.

A legacy you can pass on

Quality matters when something is meant to endure.
I've desinged these cards as objects worth keeping, handled daily, revisited often, and eventually passed on.

The cards are printed on 400-gram art paper and have a satisfying, substantial feel. The edges are gilded, and they feature elegant hot-foil stamped accents.

The box itself is a stunner, subtly textured, finished with refined gold details, and designed to look just as good on a coffee table as it does in a learning space.

F.A.Q.

What are the size of these cards?

The cards are A6 size, measuring 105 × 148 mm (or 4.1 × 5.8 inches). This size is ideal for handling—comfortable to hold in one hand—while still offering plenty of space for detailed artwork on the front and clear, readable text on the back.

Are these cards for all ages?

Yes. They’re designed to be enjoyed across generations. I wanted to create something that children, parents, and grandparents can all learn from. As a parent, I’ve never believed in changing my language or tone of voice when speaking to my own daughter, these cards follow that same principle, treating young minds with respect while remaining meaningful for adults.

How is the art made?

I earned my Master’s degree at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. There, I was trained in a mixed-media workflow that uses every tool available. The process combines hand sketches, 3D software such as Blender, AI tools, and extensive overpainting in photoshop and procreate. The result is artwork that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, always refined by a human hand and eye.

Are you planning any future editions?

Yes, absolutely. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life. This is a lifelong quest: to keep exploring history, refining the craft, and expanding the collection with new editions that do justice to the people, events, and ideas that shaped our world.
